It means Swiatek will be taking home a huge chunk of cash and talkSPORT.com has broken down the expected rewards…

How much prize money do the 2024 French Open winners receive?

The total prize pot for the 2024 French Open is around £45.5million

That is an increase of almost 8 per cent from the total last year.

Both the men’s and women’s singles prize pot is split the exact same for the tournament.

Each winner is set to receive just over £2million (€2.4m) while the runner-up claims £1.2million.

For reaching the semi-final, players go home with £550,000 and for reaching the last eight at the French Open, players receive £350,000.

In the doubles competition, both men’s and women’s players receive the same prize too with winners getting £500,000 and runners-up claiming £250,000.
