Mackenzie’s Claim To Fame Season 3 Clues
Mackenzie’s Wine Room Clue Confirms Her Identity
During the Claim to Fame season 3 week 1 True Truths and a Lie game, Mackenzie stated that her celebrity relative was her father, who’s a singer who won a Tony Award. However, in her confessional, she admitted that there was nothing associated with Broadway in her family at all, so this meant that the Tony Award was her lie. During the Claim to Fame talent show, Mackenzie said in her confessional that she doesn’t share any talents with her celebrity relative, so she wouldn’t be singing. Instead, she tap danced.
In the Claim to Fame season 3 week 2 spelling challenge, “goatee,” was one of the words. Mackenzie told the cameras that “goatee” was her celebrity relative’s clue. During week 3, the contestants participated in the telephone challenge, during which they had to memorize and recite limericks to each other in order to retell them correctly through a game of telephone. In one of the limericks, there was the line, “He wrote a honky tonk song.“ Although it wasn’t confirmed on the show, this clue also belongs to Mackenzie.
During the Claim to Fame week 4 interrogation challenge, Mackenzie shared in her confessional that nobody knew who she was. Her goal was to continuously make people think that she’s related to someone on Broadway. The contestants asked her if her celebrity relative ever played a ballerina, and she answered yes. (Perhaps they were trying to find out if she’s related to Save the Last Dance actress Julia Stiles, who she resembles). When they asked her if her celebrity relative ever played a firefighter, she said no. Mackenzie also said that her celebrity relative was a female.
When Shane won the challenge, he pulled Mackenzie’s Wine Room clue. The clue consisted of six feet, the number 6, a cowboy hat on music notes, an owl with a speech bubble, a man winning, and an ape plus a house with the word “FOR” in it plus an ice cube.
Shane realized that the clue meant that Mackenzie’s celebrity relative is a 6 foot 6 country music star, but he couldn’t figure out the second part of the clue. However, he said that he didn’t care because there are only so many 6 foot 6 country stars out there. Shane told Mackenzie about the “6 foot 6” part of the clue, and she laughed and said that he should keep it to himself. During week 6, Shane admitted in his confessional that he had no idea about country music, and he wasn’t sure who Mackenzie’s celebrity relative could be.

Claim to Fame season 3 has had some incredible mystery celebrity relative reveals. Here’s every contestant whose relative has been revealed so far.
Mackenzie Is Country Music Legend Trace Adkins’ Daughter
Trace’s Instagram Page Confirms Mackenzie’s Identity
Mackenzie is country music legend Trace Adkins’ daughter. He’s a singer who has a goatee. One of his biggest hits is “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” which he released in 2005. This would explain the “honky tonk song” clue.
Mackenzie’s Wine Room clue is also a dead giveaway that she’s related to Trace because it can be deciphered to mean, “6 foot 6 country singer who won apprentice.“ Trace is a 6 foot 6 inch country singer. The second part of the clue can be deciphered to mean, “who won apprentice.” The ape plus the house with the “FOR” sign which represents “rent” plus the ice spells “apprentice.” In 2013, Trace won The Celebrity ApprenticeAll-Stars.
During Claim to Fame season 3 week 6, Mackenzie won her own clue in the challenge. The contestants didn’t have the chance to see it, but it was shown to the audience. It said, “While Missy Elliott talked about her Gabonk-a-donk-donk, this singer talked about a Badonkadonk that was Honky Tonk.“ This was another clue about Trace’s song “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.”
A visit to Trace Adkins’ Instagram page confirms that Mackenzie is his daughter. Trace shared a post that includes a photograph of him, Mackenzie, and his daughter Trinity visiting him on a set.
Mackenzie was able to completely dupe her fellow Claim to Fame season 3 contestants by going along with their theory that she was related to country singer Blake Shelton. When Shane asked Danny for help with her clue, Danny thought that maybe it referred to Blake because he’s tall.
When Mackenzie asked Shane who he thought the clue was about, he said Blake, and she replied that it made her feel sick. This convinced Shane that Danny was right, but he was proven wrong when he made the guess and was eliminated. Mackenzie did an awesome job of convincing Danny and Shane that she was related to Blake. They were completely shocked when Danny was eliminated. Mackenzie is still in a great position moving forward in the game, and she has a high chance of winning Claim to Fame season 3.
