Newcastle star Alexander Isak has been linked, along with Sporting Lisbon’s Victor Gyokeres and Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee.

Sesko’s agent, Elvis Basanovic, was at the Theatre of Dreams to watch Arsenal beat United 1-0 on Sunday, and he was also in attendance at the Emirates Stadium to witness the 5-0 demolition of Chelsea last month.

The youngster’s potential arrival at Arsenal could see Hale End graduate Nketiah leave, with the 24-year-old being made available for purchase having fallen down the pecking order.

Crystal Palace are known to be admirers of the one-cap England international having enquired over his services ahead of the winter transfer window.

Sesko, who spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Red Bull Salzburg, has banged in 17 goals in all competitions this term – with 13 coming in the Bundesliga.

Since January 27, the Slovenia international has chipped in with either a league goal or assist in every game he has started, with the forward finding the back of the net in each of his last six outings.
