Garcia was arrested on a felony vandalism charge.

Lt. Andrew Myers said: “During the investigation, the intoxicated person was identified as Ryan Garcia.”

“Upon obtaining statements from the hotel management, it was determined that Mr. Garcia was a registered guest of the hotel and had caused damage to a guest room and the hallway of the hotel.”

The Athletic reports that Beverly Hills Fire Department transported Garcia to a local hospital for medical care after the arrest.

Meanwhile, ESPN reports that Garcia’s attorney, Darin Chavez, says the 25-year-old might also be charged with public intoxication.

Chavez said in a statement to ESPN that the arrest came at “an extraordinarily challenging time for Ryan, as he has been grappling with devastating news regarding his mother’s health.”

“Ryan has been open about his struggles with mental health over the years, and at this time he is dealing with an immense emotional burden,” Chavez added.

“The support and understanding from fans and the public are crucial as he navigates these personal challenges.”

Garcia took to social media and compared himself to Trump and popstar Spears.

He wrote: “Kinda funny both Trump and I are in jail. I don’t know if he is in jail but I know he got convicted this sucks, But I love Jesus I will be okay.”

In a separate post, he added: “I feel like I’m Ryan Spears Aka Britney Spears.

“This sucks 🙁 I never hurt anyone I’ve only ever loved everyone prayed for people.

“And try to make a change in this cruel world I love you Christ Jesus Amen.”

Garcia shocked the boxing world in April when he beat WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney via a majority decision.

However, his triumph was marred by the news that he tested positive for performance-enhancing substance ostarine the day before the bout, according to a letter from the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association obtained by ESPN.

News of the positive test was first shared by journalist Dan Rafael, who also reported that Garcia’s pre-fight sample screened positive for 19-norandrosterone.

Many are concerned about Garcia’s mental well-being with the American making headlines for his bizarre behaviour in the lead-up to the fight.

In March, he worried fans by bursting into tears during an Instagram live stream and also claimed he was high on drugs on social media the previous month.

Garcia also announced the birth of his second child as well as his divorce from his wife on the same day in January.

He accused Haney of using banned substances in March and said he was going to beat Haney’s ears off, and later tweeted: “My intention is to Kill Devil Haney.”
