The Morning Show is set to introduce a new character in season 4 that will complicate Alex’s story, with the newcomer being someone important from her past. The Apple TV+ original series focuses on the ever-changing world of broadcast news, particularly the careers of anchors Alex Levy (Jennifer Aniston) and Bradley Jackson (Reese Witherspoon). The Morning Show season 3 ended with UBA merging with their competitor, NBN, setting the stage for plenty of changes when the new season arrives.
Now, TVLine reports that one of these changes comes in the form of Alex’s father, Martin Levy, who will be introduced in season 4 of the show. Expected to appear in six episodes of the upcoming season, Martin is described as an intelligent older man who’s always brutally honest about everything he feels. The actor for the role has yet to be revealed, but one candidate, Kevin Kline (A Fish Called Wanda) has already declined the role. This leaves it open as to who will be portraying the new character.
